Keep The Capes Wild (Shipsterns)

The experience of walking into Shipsterns Bluff may soon be tainted, as the Tasmanian Government reaches new levels of stupidity.
Work begins soon on commercial accommodation huts at Tunnel Bay, just a few minutes walk from Shipstern Bluff. National Parks are generally off limits to commercial development but in this case it’s Parks and Wildlife who are doing the building. It is also believed a heli-pad will be built to service the commercial accommodation. This development is part of five other commercial huts being built within the Tasman National Park over the coming 12-18 months and will eventually form “The Three Capes Walk”. It is unclear if surfers will be charged to access the track to Shipsterns Bluff.
Please help us in keeping this amazing place as beautiful as it is right now, so friends and family in the future can experience what we have been lucky enough to enjoy…..Follow the link and sign up…

Thankyou to everyone

No way leave it as is! We are supposed to be the natural state. Please leave this area natural !

That’s the place we go to escape civilisation and get on the wild side. Also encourages more careless tourists that litter and don’t respect the environment, rather than the content and respectful that take care.
