My names Marti Paradisis, but most people call me “Moose” …

I grew up on the southern coastline of Tasmania and it was here i developed my passion for surf exploration…. My local break growing up  was a shitty beachie, sheltered from big swells and rarely got decent waves. While living here i was lucky enough to meet a few older crew who every chance they get, would leave the local  surf  scene and head off on adventures around the remote coastline that makes up the rest of tassie…

From that moment on all i wanted to do was travel.. every break we surfed, id run over the hill or around the headline in anticipation of finding another wave, that maybe hadn’t been surfed before…. That feeling of finding a wave and surfing a wave for the first time is one of the most amazing feelings i could experience , i constantly want that feeling again and again… My lifestyle revolves around weather patterns, tracking storms all over the world and trying to be in the right spot at the right time.

I have a thirst for big barrels and shallow slabs. My friends who i grew up with and ones ive met on my journey all froth on the same deal, so when its on, u can guarantee its going to be an exciting day….. Surfing for me is so much more than going out and trying to surf the best in the lineup. Its about the adventures you go on, the amazing people you meet in your travels, remote parts of the world you see and catching that first wave at a break you thought you could only ever dream about.
